Welcome to another year of latter Glory upon Chrysolyte children and parents, staff and management.
It has been a very challenging summer for the staff and management due to new regulations and redecorations – however it has been very fulfilling serving God’s heritage.
We are always grateful to God for his rich abiding presence and favour; which we experienced throughout last academic year, hence we are confident of a greater manifestation of favour and blessings this year

Word of blessing: The sure word of prophecy:
Chrysolyte (parents, pupils, staff & management) you are in his glory of the latter house which is greater than the former from this year 2009/10. Walk in the light as he is in the light-(1 John1:7) Amen. People shall see the glory of Christ, his majesty and excellence upon Chrysolyte (Isa 35:26) you are my instrument of glory to the ends of the earth, Amen. |
| May I seize this opportunity to welcome all our new pupils and parents with a vision. I wish you God’s blessing and I believe this journey of faith will be a fruitful and blessed one |
Appreciation
May I thank all the parents, their relatives and friends who made every effort to attend the annual graduation event, parents evening, sports day and many thanks to all members of the Trustees and PTA for their support, prayer and advice. May I thank these special parents in God’s sight who have been a blessing to their family friends in introducing them to what God is doing in Chrysolyte. Parents remember other children who are in classes of 25-30 children to a teacher or a child who is lost in the system through the wrong judgement of a teacher (recent OFSTED news). This is my heart for the children in our nation. They are unique if placed in the right environment especially in the presence of God (Chrysolyte).
Again, the board of directors and I value you all, and may God’s glory be your reward.
Last Annual Graduation Ceremony 2010 DVDS are now available to be purchased for the prize of £9.00.

Standard (Reminder from Last Look Ahead Newsletter)
We informed parents that teachers would formally document any non-compliance with school policies and standard in respect of:
- Punctuality.
- Full compliance with the uniform policies.
- Failure to address any concern of neglect or abuse (torn uniform, untidy hair and lateness).
- Children not meeting class/school expectations (socially & academically).
- Non-attendance to parents and teachers meeting or requested appointment by class teacher.
- Any unwelcoming/aggressive attitude towards staff.

Parents Partnership
Some parents were involved in the last academic year’s reading club, cooking lessons etc. We are therefore looking to repeat such activities this term; interested parents are welcomed to register their interests with the school office.
|
| |
Healthy Eating and Fitness
The target to purchase various fitness equipments has been achieved. We continue to increased in-house and leisure centre fitness lessons and routines. Parents are also reminded that children are not allowed any kind of fizzy drinks, crisps, sweets or chocolate in the school. (For suggestions on fitness, please speak to the school office.)

| |
Communication – Home and Class
As part of the school improvement plans, the school will be using these three channels (email, post, and class teacher) to improve communication between home and school for urgent and important news. To help us implement the email aspect of our communication, all parents are to inform the school office of their email address. Also parents are encouraged to constantly check the general notice board.

Scholarship & Bursary Scheme
The trustees in charge of bursary and Scholarship Scheme have notified me that parents should be informed that some parents and the school are facing challenging time, Hence the bursary & scholarship allocation has been over stretched and those parents the school cannot help should seek the Government support Schemes. The Trust also wants parents to know that Chrysolyte fees, class size and the care for their souls cannot be compared with other independent schools. It is a challenge, but our children deserve the best at all cost, especially the Christian atmosphere. I will like to encourage parents that the fees payment terms and conditions must be adhered to.
We thank God that the bank with external credit control organization has taken it up to chase all outstanding arrears because they believe that the School’s Christian approach is being abused, knowing that the School is not a charity or grant maintained organization.

Staff Professional Development
We have set out plans to increase staff training. Albeit, the system we have in place, still allows/caters for the achievement of our curriculum aims during absence.

Let their Light Shine:-
Our children’s participation in their local churches, community & national projects:- A child in the nursery department was appointed as a role model in her parent’s church due to her biblical maturity and manners. Another child was on the local newspaper front page nominated to play at Wembley for Pegasus Juniors. I am certain there are many others. Let us encourage them to let their light shine as Chrysolyte Ambassadors.

Other Transforming Activities in Bethel House
There are divine initiatives in the house to demonstrate our passion for God’s glory upon children and generations to come.
|
| |
Kingdom Kids Prayer Shield
An intercessory prayer net for every child on our list until they begin to fulfil God’s destiny. Every child in Chrysolyte is under this prayer cover. So we want parents to agree with us in prayer over any concerns or submit their requests to the matron.
|
| |
Prayer Shield for Families
On the Fourth Friday of every month, there is a tailor-made prayer worship programme for shielding our children, loved ones and securing our families inheritance among the saints. (Non-denominational)
|
| |
Sunday Family Worship (Bethel House Family Mission)
A prayer and worship outreach programme for the unchurched children and parents in our school and immediate environment takes place here every Sunday at 11:00 am.
As discussed at the annual meeting (AGM) that we will give our possible best in ensuring that the children do not come behind in their expected areas of development by providing the best in Christian education (ethos of excellence, faith, love and holy reverence) by God’s grace. Nevertheless, we still covet your continual prayers for the Teachers, Staff Team, Matron, PTA Trustees & Principal for God’s direction and favour.
With all God wishes, we remain yours in Christ.
